Notes:
Harold Ross Ellis (1925-2005)1 was a graduate of the Tennesee School of Pharmacy. He moved from Tennesee to Abingdon VA in 1951. Sometime after that, he started the Ellis Pharmacy, where he was the owner and Pharmacist. 1.

Harold's son, Doug Ellis was working in the pharmacy by 1996.2

By 2008, the Ellis Pharmacy had closed and the building housed the newly opened "Ellis Soda Shoppe".3
