 According to the US Census, Charles C. Gibson was born in Virginia in Dec 1863, and was a druggist with his own store in Abingdon VA in 19101. He died Oct 19202.
Gibson is listed as an Abingdon druggist in the 1888 Chataigne's business directory3, so it seems he was in business from on-or-before 1888 to on-or-after 1910.
The 1900 Census lists him as a farmer though - that may have been a mistake.
