Notes:
William Franklin Creighton (1840-1901)5 partnered with Hortensia H. Cook in 1869 to form the Cook & Creighton drug store. The store was previously known as Cook & Kelly. 2 The partnership was disolved in 1874, and and the drug store became known as "Henry Cook & Co", owned by Hentry & Hortensia Cook.3

Creighton then opened his own drug store at 85 King Street6. Between 1874 and 1887 the address of his drug store listed in city directories moved to 89, 79, and 81 King Street, which were all near or at the NW corner of King and Royal Streets. The King Street address numbers changed about that time and from then on his store was listed at 401 King Street, which was on the NW corner of King and Royal Streets.

William passed away in 1901. At that time, his son, Dr. Frank Carlin Creighton (1874-1964)7 took over the store.8 But the name of the drug store in the city directories did not change - it was still called "W F Creighton & Co".

There was a second drug store that shows up in city directories from 1897-1906. It was called "W F Creighton & Son", and it was listed at 924 Queeen Street. I couldn't find exactly when that store opened, but it ended in 19061.
