Jefferson Manor Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates:
Jefferson Manor Pharmacy, 5918 N Kings Hwy, Alexandria VA (ca.1949-ca.1966) 1,2

Notes:
The earliest reference I could find to this pharmacy was a newspaper ad from September 19491, and the latest reference I could find was a newspaper ad from October 19662. The 1966 ad was in the classified section, offering to sell store fixtures and inventory, so I suspect that the store was closing down at that time.

The modern day address 5918 N Kings Highway is the address specified in the 1966 newspaper ad, and it is located at the corner of N. Kings Highway and Fort Drive, which is the address on the label of the bottle below. This is still referred to as the Jefferson Manor shopping center, but the pharmacy is no longer there.
