George J. Savage (1882-1971)2 teamed up with
William G. Blasingame (1894-1945)3 about 1924 to form the Savage &
Blasingame drug store in Cape Charles VA. After Blasingame passed away, the store
became known as Savage's Drug Store.1
Savage's 2 sons George J Savage Jr. and J. Thomas Savage worked at the store, and
continued it after their father's death, until it was sold in 1997.1
