Boulevard Drug Store, 3301 Boulevard, Colonial Heights VA (ca.1968-ca.1984) 1,2
Boulevard Drug Store, 3424 Boulevard, Colonial Heights VA (ca.1985-1995) 3,4
Notes:
The earliest newspaper mention of the Boulevard Drug Store in Colonial Heights that
was from 1968.1
Albert Shafer Lewis Jr (1909-1981)5
was the co-owner of the Boulevard Drug Store until he retired in 1971.
He was also a co-owner of the Colonial Heights drug store. 6
It appears the building that the store was housed in was sold in 19842,
and by 1985 the store had a new address not far from the original address.3
In 1995 there was an announcement that a drug store called "Revco",
had aquired all prescription records from the Boulevard Drug Store, so apparently
that's the time the store closed.4
