Notes:
Gilbert Lynwood Keeling (1913-1965)3 was the proprietor
of Keeling's Pharmacy in Danville. His pharmacy doesn't show up in the
1945 Danville city directory, but starts showing up in the 1947 directory,
so he started sometime around 1945-19471.
He passed away in 1965, and in 1966 the stock from his drugstore was put
up for sale2.
Keeling went to the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond VA in the
1930s to learn Pharmacy.4
The 1940 US Census lists him working as a Pharmacist, living in Richmond.
The 1941 City directory for Petersburg VA lists him as a pharmacist at
the Southworth's Drug store.
