Ware's Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates: 1,6
Ware's Pharmacy, Falls Church VA (1916-1977+)

Notes:
Macon Ware (1890-1952)2 was a 32nd degree Mason. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 1913. 3
He came to Falls Church in December 1915, and bought the Mankin Drug Store. 4

His drug store was originally located on Washington Street, near Broad Street 4.
Ware retired in 19453, but his drugstore continued operation under the same name.
Sometime at-or-before 1959, his store moved to 6843 Lee Highway, which would have been near where modern-day Route-66 crosses Lee Highway in East Falls Church.5.
Sometime at-or-before 1977, the store moved to 200 Little Falls Street6. I don't know when the store finally closed down.
