Anderson Drug Co

Company Names, addresses, dates:
Anderson Drug Co, Main Street, Farmville VA (ca.1899-1914) 1,2

Notes:
Dr. William Edward Anderson (1866-1926)3 was a physician who ran a drug store in Farmville VA.
The earliest advertisement I could find for his drug store was in 18992.
I found an advertisement for "Beckham's Mouthwash" sold at Anderson Drug Co in 1902, so that's a likely timeframe for the mouthwash bottle shown below4.

In 1914, the Anderson Drug Co was sold and incorporated under the name the "Farmville Pharmacy". Initially the president of the company was Dr Anderson. 5
In subsequent years, the Farmville Pharmacy was run by A. T. Gray.

Anderson Drug Co Bottles:
anderson_01 This is a 4.3" bottle with a fancy stopper and a label says:
label: BECKHAM'S MOUTHWASH / FOR PRESERVING / AND WHITENING THE TEETH / Prepared By / ANDERSON DRUG CO / FARMVILLE, VA.

Other Items:
anderson_02 This postcard is postmarked March 1909, and says "Main Street, Farmville Va."
The photo has a sign on the far left that says "Anderson DRUG CO", so it depicts the Anderson Drug store building.
