Dewey Thomas Gooden (1893-1972)1 got his pharmacy degree in 19222.
He shows up in Richmond City directories as a pharmacist in 1931 and 1933. At some point, he moved to Grottoes where he opened his own drug store.

His wife Perle Farley Gooden (1904-1995)3 was a partner in the store4.
