Notes:
Oscar Williams was the original owner of the West End pharmacy in Hampton, VA. 1,3

John D. Coleman took over the West End Pharmacy in 1933, at a new location1. The drug store name was referred to as "Coleman's West End Pharmacy" in city directories in subsequent years.3
In 1944, the drug store went up for sale at an auction because Coleman was ill.4

Ben F. Friedman was listed as the proprietor in subsequent years. The name of the pharmacy went back to just "West End Pharmacy".3

The Hampton History Museum web site has photos of the West End Pharmacy, including a
c.1915 exterior photo at 51 Armistead Ave, and a
1930 interior photo at 107 Armistead Ave.
