Company Names, addresses, dates:
  Bierer's Pharmacy, Lexington VA

Notes:
John Michael Bierer (1909-1974)1 was a drugstore owner in Lexington VA.
A 1930 yearbook from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond listed him as a senior in the Pharmacy Class.
He appears in the 1936 Richmond city directory as a pharmacist at Walgreens.
The 1940 US Census lists Bierer as a druggist living in Lexington VA.

The earliest reference I could find to the Pierer's Pharmacy in Lexington VA was in a 1947 newspaper2
A 1952 newspaper article said that Bierer's pharmacy was located on "Dold's Corner"3. Dold's Corner was on the corner of Main and Washington Streets.

Bierer passed away in 1974. His obituary said that he was a past president of the Virginia Phamaceutical Association.4
I couldn't find any references to Bierer's Pharmacy after 1974.
