Notes:
Dr. Charles Browne Fleet (1843-1916)2 was the original proprietor of the C.B. Fleet company1.
His obituary says he came to Lynchburg in 1869, was a drug store owner as well as a manufacturing chemist, and served for 23 years on the Virginia Pharmaceutical Assocaition. It also says he fought in the Civil War in Fredericksburg VA.3

The C.B. Fleet company continued after Charles' death, to at least 19341.
