Notes:
John T. Partlow (1873-1956)6 became a registered assistant pharmacist in 18997.
In 1900, he was a clerk in Gorrell's Pharmacy in Lexington, VA.8

The earliest reference I found to him owning a drugstore was from 1902, saying he had recently hung a sign across the street from his drug store in Mount Jackson, VA1.
In 1906, he sold that store to Marion Everly .2

Later in 1906, he purchased a drug store from J.A. Brown, which I beleive was in Wythville VA.3
He sold that store in 1908, to Mr Clarence Repass.4

Lynchburg city directories list him owning a drugstore at 814 Floyd Street starting in 1909. The 1914 and 1915 directories listed him at 1601 Park Avenue. In subsequent years, there was no drug store listed under his name.5

Starting in 1916, he shows up in Lynchburg city directories as a clerk, pharmacist or other employee in various other Lynchburg drugstores, including the College Hill, Jefferson, and Fairview pharmacies. 5
