Notes:
The 1920-1922 city directories listed Julian S. Booker as the proprietor of the company.

The directories from 1923-1932 list Julian's brother, James Norfleet Booker (c.1890-1931)2 as the proprietor, and the 1933 directory lists his widow, Mrs. Virginia Booker as the proprietor.

Booker Laboratories was sometimes called "Booker Drug Co" in the city directories, and it was described as either a "Manufacturing Chemist" or "druggist sundries". Julian and James both had experience at drug stores before their stints at Booker Laboratories. Julian worked at the Lee Park Pharmacy in 1911, and was the proprietor of the High School Pharmacy from 1912-1917. James was a clerk at that drugstore during those years, and was manager/proprietor of it from 1918-1922. Julian was listed at Booker & Finley Inc in 1918, then the Owl Drug Co in 1919.
