Notes:
Frederick Henry Masi (1846-1889)4 was listed as a clerk for Burrow's drugstore in 1869 & 1870 Norfolk city directories.1
In 1871, he purchased the drugstore at the corner of Main and Granby Streets, and named the new business "Fred. H. Masi & Co.".2
The store was formerly owned by Dr. Cowdery, and was referred to as the "Atlantic Drug Store".4

As early as 1882, Frederick was listed as the druggist, and his brother, Walter Clement Masi (1855-1914)6 was listed as the clerk in city directories.1
On May 1st of 1889, Frederick admits his brother Walter an interest in the store, and the name changes to "F.H. Masi & Bro".3
Frederick passed away later that year, and Walter took over the store. The last year the store appears in city directories was 1894, and in subsequent years the store at that address was owned by John Trotter .1
