LeGrand Donohoe (1845-1920) 3 opened his Phoebus drug store in 18812.

Besides being a druggist, he was a Postmaster for a time.4
He was also a delegate in the Elizabeth City County Legislature5, as well as a Confederate soldier in the Civil War.6
