had a short-lived career as a drugstore owner in Portsmouth.
The 1883 Portsmouth city directory listed him as a drug clerk, working for the
Bilisoly & Langhorne
drug store. He shows up as owning his own drug store in the 1886-1890
city directories, with 2 store locations in the 1889 directory. 1
But he fell ill, and in January of 1891 he died.3
In subsequent years, his store at 314 High Street was listed in city
directories as being owned by
Augustus L. Bilisoly. 1
