Notes:
Joseph Foster Weaver (1833-1903)2 ran a drugstore in Portsmouth, VA.
I don't have access to Portsmouth city directories for every year, but based on the ones I do have access to, he started his drugstore business sometime between 1876 and 18801.
His obituary says that he belonged to "a number of secret orders".3
The 1880 Census says that his son was Samuel W. Weaver who also had a drugstore in Portsmouth.
