Notes:
Vernon Grant's book lists "Thomas C. Hazzard", with middle initial "C" and with 2 Z's in "Hazzard"1. I beleive these were mistakes, and I verified that by searching the 1871 Richmond City directory. The druggist at 327 E Franklin street that year was indeed listed at "Thomas H. Hazard", not "Thomas C. Hazzard". That matches what is embossed on the bottle below.
