Notes:
William Garland Tarrant Sr (1877-1961)3 came to Richmond in 1893, and became an apprentice with the Wagner Drug Co . He got his pharmacist's license in 1898, and he started the Tarrant, Grant & Co drug store in 1905. He stayed in the drugstore business until shortly before his death in 1961. He was a member of the Virginia Pharmeceutical Association, and served as it's president. 2

As seen in the photo of the building below, the Tarrant Drug Co building now (as of Jan 2022) houses a restaurant called "Tarrant's Cafe". I don't know what year it transitioned from a drugstore to a cafe, but I assume by the name that the cafe was started by a descendant of William G. Tarrant Sr.
This Reddit web site seems to show the same building when it was the Tarrant Drug Co.
