Notes:
A postcard I saw on eBay was postmarked 1908, and depicted the interior of the Pannell Bros. Drug Store. It depicted African Americans, so presumably the Pannell brothers were African American.

Bottles:

The sizes of these clear bottles are 6.8" (8oz), 5.5" (4oz), 4.5" (2oz), and 3.7" (1oz). They're all embossed the same, except for the number of ounces (viii, iv, ii & i) and the letter between the "W T & CO" and the "U.S.A." on the base. horizontal: (3viii, 3iv, 3ii or 3i) slanted in script: Pannell Bros. vertical: DRUGGISTS / STAUNTON, VA. base: (WT&CO/C/USA, WT&CO/C/USA, WT&CO/D/USA or WT&CO/F/USA)
