This is a clear 5.2" unembossed machine-made bottle with a label that says: label: Skeeter-Shu / White Drug Co / CUT RATE DRUGGISTS / 345 EAST WASHINGTON ST. SUFFOLK, VA. From the name of this product, my guess is that this was mosquito repellent. |

W. Marshall White was listed in the 1927 Suffolk city directory as the
manager.
The 1930 Suffolk city directory listed J.M. Platt as the manager.
In March of 1933, there was a newspaper mention describing 345 East Washington
Street as "the building formerly occupied by the White Drug Co"2,
and I couldn't find any newspaper mentions of the company after that, so it
appears the drugstore closed on or before that time.
