Notes:
 William Elliott Drake (1874-1948)3 moved to Waynesboro in 1905.4
He started running a drugstore there as early as 1906, but I couldn't find any indication it was called the "Waynesboro Drug Store" until 1911.1
Drake's 1918 WW-I draft card5 listed the address of the Waynesboro drug store as 510 Main Street, but the Era Druggist Directory entries in subsequent years give the address as 519 Main street. I don't know if the drug store moved, or if the "510" was a misprint. If the drug store did move, it would have been sometime between 1918 and 1927.
Drake passed away in 19483, and but the Waynesboro drug store continued until at least 1960, as there is an artifact shown below with a 1960 date on it.
