I collect antique beer and soda bottles from Washington DC and Northern Virginia.
This web site has photos and information about the bottles in my collection.
I've organized my bottles based on whether they're from Washington DC or

Other terms & abreviations:
ABM - Automated Bottle Machine (a bottle that was made by a machine)
ACL - Applied Color Label (a label that was permanently painted on the bottle)
BIM - Blown In Mold (a bottle that was made by a human glassblower using a bottle mold) - opposite of ABM
BIMAL - Blown In Mold Applied Lip (BIM bottle with a lip that was added vs. being part of the mold)
SCA - Sun Colored Amethyst (color that some clear glass will turn when exposed to ultraviolet light)
