New York Bottling Co.
Company Names, addresses, dates1:
New York Bottling Co, 729 11th St SE (1907)
Notes:
The only year I could find this company in DC directories is 1907.
The bottles below have a monogram logo that either says "KRF" or "KR" (although the
letters are not necesarily in any particular order).
A legal notice in the October 2nd 1906 issue of the Washington Post mentioned the
names Benjamin Katz and Isaac Robin in association with the New York Bottling Company.
Those two last names could account for the "K" and "R" in the monogram.
I suspect that they later added a business partner whose last name ended in "F".

book # 435 This is an 11.4" aqua crown top bottle embossed: round slug plate: NEW YORK BOTTLING CO / KRF / REGISTERED / WASHINGTON, D.C. It appears to be BIM (not machine made), which is unusual for a picnic sized bottle. |
