The Nutri-cola bottle shown below is unusual not just because of it's shape, but because the words "nutri cola" are de-bossed instead of embossed (that is, the letters bulge into the glass instead of out of the glass).
Nutri-cola does not appear in any Washington DC city directories. An ad in the Washington Post on 14-March-1948 offered 1/2 cent for redeeming each Nutri-cola bottle cap.
A newspaper ad in Philadelphia from Feb 14 1948 said that Nutri Cola International Corporation was a division of Booth Bottling Company, Inc.
