Notes:
Christian G. Schmidt (b.1861, d.1940) was born in Germany, and came to America in 18852,3.
He was listed in city directories as a bottler from 1892-1914. The 1892 listing was in the residential section, so the "405 Q Street" address may have been his home.
From 1914-1917 he was listed as a liquor dealer. Prohibition hit Washington DC in 1918, which is likely what put Schmidt out of business. In the 1919 city directory he's listed as a butcher.
