Virginia Bottling Works

Company Names, addresses, dates:
  Virginia Bottling Works, Alexandria

Notes:
The bottle below has me stumped. It says "ALEXA", but I'm not even certain it's Alexandria Virginia. 9 inch Baltimore Loop seal bottles like the one below were popular in the 1880s and 1890s, but my resources for researching Alexandria VA are very limited in that time period.

The initials on the bottle are "WJ", not necessarily in that order. So I searched for some bottlers & brewers with those initials from Alexandria VA in the 1880-1910 era. I came up with these candidates:
1. Joseph Weingardt, a brewer in Alexandria VA 1903-1905
2. Joseph Webeler, a brewer, working for Robert Portner in Alexandria VA in 1895
3. John Wenk, a bottler in Alexandria VA 1904-1911

I found a few companies called "Virginia Bottling Works", but none of them in Alexandria. I've found evidence of one in Gate City VA (very far from Alexandria VA), in Minnesota, and in Clinton Tennesee.
