Chas. Blencowe

Company Names, addresses, dates:
Chas. Blencowe, Opposite Post Office, Berryville VA (c.1900-1920) 1,2

Notes:
Charles Blencowe (1852-1932)3 was born in England. He came to the US in 1865, and became a U.S. Citizen in 1880.4

He was a druggist in Lynchburg VA, with his father Thomas Blencowe, and he had his own drugstore in Lynchburg circa 1885-1890.5

I don't know when he started his drugstore in Berryville, but the earliest reference to it I could find was in 19002.
The 1900 & 1920 Census lists him as a druggist living in Battletown - according to Wikipedia 'Battletown' was an early name for Berryville.
In 1917, he installed a soda fountain in his drug store6.
Blencowe was bought out by Robert H. Gardiner in 19201. He would have been 68 years old by that time.
By 1930, he was retired and living with his daughter in Washington DC.4
