Notes:
Edward Taylor Von Pippin II (1907-1998)³ purchased the Harris Pharmacy in 1948, although it kept the Harris name at that time. Prior to that time, Von Pippin had been employed by the Patterson Drug Co of Lynchburg VA. ¹
The 1950 US Census listed Edward as the Store owner/manager, his wife as the bookkeeper, and his 2 daughters as clerks at the drug store.

Von Pippen ran the drug store until at least 1965, and eventually it became the Berryville Pharmacy².

Apparently this pharmacy was part of the the Rexall chain of drug stores .

This is a clear, machine-made, 3.3" bottle with a label from 1960 that says: label: "THE REXALL STORE" / VON PIPPIN'S DRUG STORE / PRESCRIPTION PHARMACY / Phone 995-1058 BERRYVILLE, VA. / ... Dr. Oliver ... 6/27/60
