Notes:
 Edward C. Schaarman (1856-1940)3 moved from Manasses VA to Front Royal in 18871.
It appears he had been a drug store owner in Manassas, as I saw an 1885 newspaper ad for cough syrup sold by E.C. Schaarmann in Manassas4.

In Front Royal, he was the senior partner of the drug store Schaarmann & Co for at least 10 years5, so he started his drug store somehere in the 1887-1891 range.

In 1901, he sold his drug store to Dr. D.J. Turner, Marcus B. Turner, and Henry Trout, who renamed the business Trout & Turner 2.
He and his wife moved to West Virginia, where he continued in the drugstore business.
