Griffin's Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates:
Griffin's Pharmacy, Peoples Bank Building, Martinsville VA (ca.1915) 1

Notes:
The Griffin's Pharmacy was described as the 2nd drug store to open in Martinsville, "several years" after 1905. (The first was Kearfotts). 1
In 1916 there was a newspaper mention about a store room "formerly occupied by Griffin's Pharmacy" in Martinsville. 2
I don't know if that means the pharmacy had closed down by that time, or if it just vacated that one room.

I couldn't find out anything else about this drug store, or the person it was named after.

Bottles:
griffin_01 This is a 5.2" clear mouth-blown bottle with a label:
label: Griffin's Pharmacy / HOME OF GOOD DRUGS / Peoples Bank Building, MARTINSVILLE, VA.
