Notes:
The manager of the Patterson Drug Company in was Elbert R. Rush. In 1959, a second store was opened, that one managed by Earl D. Mann¹.
One of the artifacts below is dated from 1947, so the first store must have started on or before that year. The stores were both still around in 1960, but I don't have access to phone books after that year, so I don't know how long they lasted.

This is a green, 2.5" bottle with a 1958 label from the PATTERSON's DRUG Store of Martinsville VA: label: PATTERSON'S / SAFE SERVICE DRUG STORE / TEL. ME.2-2125, MARTINSVILLE, VA. / 9-23-58 / ...

This is a cardboard box. The red stripe that says "PATTERSON DRUG CO" on this item is very similar to the one on the label above, so I'm guessing that it was part of the same Patterson's drug co chain. It says: Prescriptionists / Store No 6 / ... MARTINSVILLE, VA. ... 6-14-47 ...
