T.D. Seabury's

Company Names, addresses, dates:
T.D. Seabury's Old Market Drugstore, Petersburg VA

Notes:
Thomas Dabney Seabury (1866-1914)1 was a druggist in both Petersburg and Danville VA.
Here's what I found about his location:
1880: Petersburg, age 13, living at home [US Census]
1881: Danville, working as a druggist [Danville city directory]
1888: Petersburg, working as a drug clerk [Petersburg city directory]
1892: Danville, has his own drugstore [ Ricketts Blog ]
1894: Neapolis, has his own drugstore [Danville/Neapolis city directory]
1901: Petersburg, as a drug clerk for W.E. Armstrong [Petersburg city directory]
1903: Petersburg, as a drug clerk for W.E. Armstrong [Petersburg city directory]
1910: Petersburg/Matoaca, occupation: druggist [US Census]
1914: Danville: working as a druggist [Death Certificate]

The bottle shown below is proof that he must of had his own drug store in Petersburg at one time, but that store doesn't show up in any of the Petersburg city directories, so I don't know what year or years it was in operation, and it was probably very short lived.

I've seen a photo of a bottle that was embossed:
"T. D. SEABURY / PHARMACIST / NORTH DANVILLE, VA."

Bottles:
seabury_01 This is a clear, 3.5" bottle embossed:
vertical: T.D. SEABURY'S / OLD MARKET DRUG STORE / PETERSBURG, VA.
base: W T & CO / B
