Tolley's Pharmacy

Company Names, addresses, dates:
Tolley's Pharmacy, 11 West Washington St., Lexington VA (1957-ca.1963) 1,2

Notes:
Robert Adam 'Bob' Tolley (1906-1971)3 graduated from the Richmond College of Pharmacy, and in 1929 became a pharmacist at the Rices Drug Store in Lexington VA4.
His circa 1940 WWII draft card listed him as working at the McCrum Drug Co, also in Lexington
Sometime around 1942, he took a job with Wayland's Drug Store, where he stayed for 10 years before going back to McCrum's. 5
In 1954, he went back to Rice's drug store.6

In 1956, he purchased Allen's Drug Store at 11 West Washington Street in Lexington VA.7
By 1957, he had changed the name to "Tolley's Pharmacy".1

The last newspaper advertisement I could find for Tolley's Pharmacy was in 1963.2
Tolley passed away in 1971, so his drug store lasted until sometime between 1963 and 1971.
